Why You Should Not Put Carpet in Your Kitchen

Now many people might think they have a brilliant idea and put carpeting in the kitchen but that is a bad idea on so many levels. Here is a question before you do that, what if you spill spaghetti on the carpet? The spaghetti is red and will stain.

Carpet cleaners love to have stained carpet because that means they can up sell you on so many things that they offer. But it can be a real pain to clean spaghetti sauce out of carpet it’s not for the DIY carpet cleaner. You need a carpet cleaner with a little power behind them.

Unless you have red carpet and I doubt anyone has red carpet in their home would be the only opportunity to hide the spaghetti sauce.

Let’s not to mention that carpet in your kitchen is a mess waiting to happen for plumbing leaks, you not only have to deal with red stains but if your kitchen stink backs up you may end up with wet carpet and you will have to get someone out to extract the water in your kitchen plus redo your piping.

No one wants to deal with that because it can be a pain in the butt and you will have a hefty grand total for all the repairs that need to be down. So it’s best to install hardwood flooring and be done with it.
